Shipping policy
Why is shipping so expensive?
At the moment due to the size and shape of our packets, if you order a single bag of coffee it still has to be sent as a small parcel and we do not currently ship enough parcels to be eligible for a business account. As our business progresses we hope this to be possible and as such it will allow us to offer cheaper shipping costs. We currently offer a flat rate for both Standard and Express shipping.
How will you ship my order?
Depending on the size and weight of your order it may be delivered by Royal Mail (Royal Mail Limited), our own drivers or by a selected courier on behalf of Mill Bank Coffee Co.
Generally, smaller items (when possible) will be shipped through Royal Mail (Royal Mail Limited), whilst larger items will be palletised and sent through A.B.E (UK) Limited.
PLEASE NOTE: Where items are delivered by pallet, the couriers are only under obligation to deliver it to the outside of your premises and it is your responsibility to transport the goods internally within your property.
How do the delivery costs work?
Delivery costs are calculated during checkout and are done so via flat rates for both Standard and Express Shipping.
Delivery to offshore islands including Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Scottish Isles will also incur an additional charge. For more information please Contact Us.
When will I receive my order?
Most products are in stock, but when not currently in stock may take us longer to make/process and as such please allow up to 7 days for your product to be fulfilled and shipped. If your order is shipped as a parcel you can expect to receive it 2 to 5 business days after shipping. If your order is palletised you can expect to receive it 2 to 3 days after shipping.
If you need your items delivered at a certain time or date please let us know when placing the order and we’ll do our best to accommodate this.
Please note that our couriers can only give approximate delivery times, but cannot guarantee the exact time and date.
Important things to note:
After the payment has been processed you will receive an email confirmation of the order. All goods remain the property of Mill Bank Coffee Co. until the full payment amount has been received.
We advise that you make arrangements to be present at the time of delivery in order to check and sign for your product(s) where necessary. You are responsible for opening and checking your product(s) before signing for them, all whilst the driver is present. If the product is damaged upon delivery you must sign for it as 'RECEIVED DAMAGED'. Mill Bank Coffee Co. will not be responsible for replacing any damaged product(s) that have not been signed for as 'RECEIVED DAMAGED'. We will be responsible for replacing your product(s) if damaged by the courier. However, we cannot be responsible for replacing these products if the damage has not been reported within 48 hours.
